#GetFresh at Fruit Beer Fest

WE'VE SPENT A YEAR GETTING THESE BEERS PLANNED FOR 2019.

Enjoy tasty new and one-off fruit beers, live music, and amazing food on August 24 from 1:00pm to 6:00pm at the new Jubilee Park in Abbotsford. We have invited some of our favourite breweries in the world to collaborate with Fraser Valley and Okanagan organic fruit, and herb farms to celebrate our local agriculture in a unique and tasty way. All breweries and farms are encouraged to work together to create a unique beverage to serve at the festival. Expect to see fruited saisons, mixed-fermentation ales, pilsners, pale ales, milkshake beers, and many more different styles of beer made with local British Columbia produce - including a few of our favourite small breweries from across Canada and the United States. It's going to be an amazing day of incredible craft beers.

The Craft Breweries

NEW AND RARE BEERS FROM LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL BREWERIES.
Our friends are everywhere and getting everyone together is a difficult feat but we've managed to get many of them to Abbotsford for what we think is one of the freshest festival lineups in Fraser Valley history. Many new micro-breweries will be visting to pour in the Fraser Valley for the first time, including our friends Wild Ambition Brewing (Kelowna), Nickel Brook Brewing (Hamilton), Temporal Artisan Ales (Vancouver), and many more alongside local favourites Field House Brewing and Ravens Brewing. You're in for something from this world that will taste out of this world. Don't feel like beer? Want to try something else? We'll have fruited ciders from Northyards Cider and Fruited Kombucha from o5 Rare Tea Bar.

The Fresh Fruit

ONLY THE BEST IN GROWING FULL FLAVOUR FRUIT.
The participating breweries all have a special relationship with every farm they choose to work with, whether they've worked with them in the past or are working with them for the first time. The Fruit Growers all provide locally-grown fruits and herbs that were grown on their farm for their collaboration beers. We believe fruit should be flavourful and grown the way it should without harmful crap. Prepare your palate for a visit to Flavour Town.

The Live Music

A SUPER AMAZING LINEUP OF TALENT TO DANCE AND CHILL TO.
Kicking off as the festival begins will be Kelowna talent Dan Tait, who’s sound is defined by his busy guitar, and powerful soaring voice. His songs will get your feet stomping, and your heart fluttering as he pounds out his best. Two-piece folk band Tiger Moon follows up with a barn-burning performance that features guitars, mandolin, and their pair o’ boots and big voices with influences from traditional folk, canadiana, soul, rock and even some reggae.

The Wild Romantics will deliver their explosive combination of folk, country and rock ‘n roll. The band has played Rifflandia, CMW, NXNE and Tall Tree Music Festival as well was named one of the Top 12 bands for the prestigious 2014 Peak Performance Project in Vancouver.

Critically-praised Tourist Company land their synth-heavy alternative rock on stage to send us all back to Earth, with their rhythmic complexities and big soundscapes, after an out-of-this-world day of incredible live music, food and tasty craft beers and ciders. The group won the title of Regional Champion in CBC’s Music Searchlight competition and placed third in the 2014 Peak Performance Project in Vancouver, with features on the Strombo Show and in Georgia Straight’s Best Albums of 2016 list. They will be showcasing brand new tunes from their upcoming sophomore record.
